Wedding songs
No wedding should be without music and no wedding couple should do without a special wedding song. There are a lot of songs that can be played on a person’s wedding and the choices can become a bit confusing. Here are a few tips to help you determine what kind of music and what kinds of wedding songs you should have for your big day.
When you walk down the aisle there are a few choices available to you, you can either have a recording of one of the wedding marches play over a loud speaker as you walk down the aisle or you can opt for live musicians to do this for you. You can have a pianist play a lovely melody as you walk down the length of the church or you can have an organist play one of the traditional wedding marches for you live in the church. You can also hire a string quartet to play wedding songs as you and your entourage stroll down the aisle to the altar or you can have a singer belt out a wedding song as you make your entrance.
Aside from the mediums you will have to choose from for the delivery of your wedding songs for your wedding march, you will also need to choose the wedding songs that will have to be sung or played during some points at your reception. There are songs that have to be sung or played during the eating time itself and during the special portions of the reception. You may choose from a list of your favorite love songs some of the music that is to be played during the course of the reception and you can hire a band to play these songs live for you. You should choose a band that is used to singing for such occasions and those that have a repertoire that you can also choose suitable wedding songs from. You can also choose to have a more romantic feel to your wedding reception by having a solo pianist and a balladeer sing your wedding songs for you or a string quartet to play instrumental romantic music for you and our guests.
The first dance between the husband and the wife is also one part of the wedding reception where the wedding songs that are being played have to be perfect. The same goes for the father and daughter dance. Choosing memorable songs for these particular instances will make for a more memorable wedding and wedding reception.
